Product Overview
This drop-out type polymer surge arrester is specially designed for 10kV overhead distribution lines, pole-mounted transformers and outdoor power equipment lightning overvoltage protection.
Different from ordinary fixed lightning arresters, it is equipped with an integrated mechanical disconnector device. When the arrester fails due to aging or lightning overload, the built-in disconnecter will automatically cut off the fault circuit, drop the arrester body down visibly, and avoid short-circuit grounding accidents of the power grid, greatly improving line operation safety.
The whole insulator housing uses high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, with excellent anti-aging, anti-pollution, hydrophobic and anti-corrosion performance, adapting to extreme weather including Central Asian cold winter, Turkey large temperature difference and Southeast high-humidity tropical environment. The internal core adopts high-performance zinc oxide resistor sheet, featuring fast response speed, low residual voltage, stable lightning energy absorption capacity, effectively restraining lightning surge and switching overvoltage to protect distribution transformers, cables and electrical equipment.
